Mobile Home M&M Comfort
The newly installed M&M Comfort mobile home was custom-built by the Italian company Mobilhome S.r.l. according to Camping Mare Monti’s instructions.The mobile home has been designed in every detail to make your vacation as comfortable as possible, including everything necessary to accommodate up to four people in just 20m² .
The mobile home is equipped with a bathroom/shower, master bedroom, small bedroom with two single beds, and living/kitchen area.As in all our mobile homes, there are cooking facilities, refrigerator, microwave oven, satellite TV, American coffee maker, etc.There is also a heat pump air conditioner.
The attached outdoor area has a veranda of 13m² of which 6m² are covered.The large glazed entrance door, which can be fully opened, makes it possible to connect the indoor living area with the outdoor zone, creating a large and comfortable common living space.
Air Conditioning with Climakey System
At Camping Mare Monti, we strive to provide our guests with the best possible experience, offering services that match the value of their stay. Air conditioning is one of the most appreciated amenities during hot weather, but it also comes with significant operational costs. These costs can either be included in the accommodation price or offered as an extra, allowing guests to decide whether they want to pay for it.
From our experience, we have noticed that guests generally prefer having most services included in a fair price. However, how do we balance this with an amenity that can become costly when used inefficiently? While some guests only use air conditioning when needed, others may misuse it—leaving it on while the mobile home is unoccupied or with windows open.
Leaving windows open when the accommodation is empty allows for natural air circulation, making it easier to cool the space efficiently when guests return by simply turning on the air conditioning and closing the windows.
Excessive energy consumption due to misuse of air conditioning contradicts the eco-friendly and sustainable vacation concept that outdoor holidays promote. While many guests are now conscious of environmental impact and energy conservation, not everyone follows sustainable practices. To ensure fair pricing and encourage responsible energy use, we have introduced a system that rewards environmentally conscious guests while discouraging wasteful usage.

By installing the Climakey system in our mobile homes.
What is Climakey?
Climakey is a rechargeable card used to control the air conditioning system. The card is pre-loaded with time credits that guests can use to activate the air conditioner in their accommodation. This system promotes sustainability and energy savings, allowing guests to enjoy comfort without unnecessary waste.
How long is the service available?
From May 1st to September 30th, guests will receive a Climakey card at check-in.
- The card will be pre-loaded with 10 hours of air conditioning per day, multiplied by the length of the stay.
- For example, a 7-night stay includes 60 hours of usage (10 hours x 7 nights = 60 hours), which can be used freely throughout the stay.
How does it work?
- To use the air conditioning, guests simply insert the Climakey card into a reader located next to the air conditioning unit.
- The system will gradually deduct time credits as the air conditioner runs (counted in minutes).
- Guests can check the remaining time on the display.
- If additional hours are needed, the Climakey card can be recharged at reception for €0.70 per hour.

Heating Mode – Free & Unlimited Usage
During cold periods, when the air conditioning system is used as a heat pump, Climakey is free and unlimited. Guests are kindly asked to use heating responsibly, without time restrictions.
